A message from the President
On behalf of our Board of Governors, faculty and staff, I am pleased to announce that we are now Grant MacEwan University.

MacEwan will continue its legacy of student-focused education, where research and teaching are integrated to enrich the student experience. MacEwan still offers the small class sizes, individual student focus, top-notch facilities, and wide range of student support services you expect.

Grant MacEwan University will offer a continuum of programming, including certificates, diplomas, degree transfer, undergraduate degrees and post-diploma/degree credentials. Our new moniker enhances opportunities for our students, when pursuing graduate studies and employment opportunities, for our faculty and staff to obtain research projects, and when recruiting students and faculty internationally.

The evolution of MacEwan since 1971 has always been based on our ability to respond to the ever changing needs of the communities and learners we serve. As we approach our 40th anniversary, everyone at MacEwan is looking to the future with enthusiasm and energy.
